UMS receives face masks, sanitizers for students
KOTA KINABALU: The state government contributed 15,000 face masks and 8,000 sanitizers for students of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
UMS received the contribution from the State Disaster Management Committee on February 23.
The contribution was handed over by a representative from the committee, Marlinus Mark Francis to UMS Student Affairs Department officer, Mohd Jamal Atong at the Sabah
Administration Centre building.
The contribution is to be distributed to students who return to campus and would begin their studies beginning March 1 to 5.
The handing over ceremony was witnessed by the Students Representative Council president for UMS, Razman Durhan and UMS student Covid-19 volunteers.

Noordin in a statement expressed gratitude for the contribution.
He said they will benefit 6,395 students who would be returning to campus and would curb the spread of the pandemic among the students.
"The facemasks and hand sanitizers would be kept at the store before they are distributed to the students at all three accomodation colleges and would be distributed to the students next week," he said.
