NCT signs up for 2,000 golf memberships to boost sports tourism
MELAKA: NCT Group of Companies (NCT Group) has signed up for 2,000 golf memberships with Ayer Keroh Country Club Bhd (AKCCB) to help boost the development of sports tourism in Melaka.
Founder and group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy said with the ongoing development of NCT’s Ion Forte Green City (IFGC) at the Ayer Keroh Country Club, the partnership will enable buyers to enjoy complimentary golf membership with their property purchase.
He said the signing up for the membership agreement with AKCCB will certainly complement the lifestyle and experience presented by IFGC.
"The combination of luxurious, modern amenities and lush surroundings of IFGC, coupled with its strategic location, are essential components of its vision to create a wellness living concept for potential buyers.
"We are pleased with the progress of the IFGC development thus far and we look forward to the launching of the next few phases," he said in a statement here, yesterday.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali and State executive councillor (Exco) for Tourism, Heritage and Culture and AKCCB chairman Datuk Muhammad Jailani Khamis.
Present were Yap, AKCCB deputy chairman Datuk Zainal Abu, AKCCB director Datuk Othman Abdul Rahim, and AKCCB chief executive officer Datuk Dr Ahmad Zaini Mohd Amin.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Zaini said: “We are pleased to embark on this partnership with NCT Group, a well-established property developer, experienced in the revival of abandoned projects across Malaysia,”
He said IFGC’s attractiveness lies in its unique location of being on a 23-acre (9.3 hectare) land within AKCC which features a 27hole golf course.
"The partnership is set to benefit IFGC buyers as they are not limited to utilise their golf memberships only at AKCC but also at other golf courses that are affiliated with us, both locally and internationally. – Bernama
