Security personnel break fast at EMCO village

PUTATAN: Kota Kinabalu experience­d hot weather on the first of Ramadan Tuesday with temperatur­es reaching 32 degrees celsius.

But the heat did not affect the spirit of security personnel who broke fast at Kampung Meruntum in Putatan Tuesday evening

The village has been placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) after five positive Covid-19 cases were recorded.

Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun had announced on Monday that Kampung Meruntum in Putatan will be placed under 14-days EMCO, beginning April 13 to 26.

Masidi had said the Ministry of Health (MOH) had done 71 screening tests in the area and found five positive Covid19 cases in the area, with 62 screening test samples still pending.
