Anifah calls on Hajiji

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) president, Datuk Seri Panglima Anifah Haji Aman paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Haji Noor yesterday.

He was accompanie­d by the party’s deputy president, Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing.

During the visit, PCS emphasized the party’s views on various issues related to Sabah’s rights including the recent announceme­nt on Sabah and Sarawak being termed regions and not states as well as the aspiration­s of the party’s supreme council members.

The discussion with the Chief Minister was considered positive for both parties who agreed to consider all proposals brought up during the courtesy visit.

Among the proposals discussed were the cooperatio­n of various parties, the explanatio­n on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 including the new decision of the government to announce Sabah as a region as well as the direction of Sabah overall.
