100 bags of rice await blood donors in Manggatal tomorrow

KOTA KINABALU: The Persatuan Penderma Darah Negeri Sabah (Pendarah) has urged the public, especially residents around the Menggatal district, to donate blood at the 7Eleven Menggatal compound from 9 am to 4 pm this Saturday (April 17).

Its president, Alix Sunggin said this campaign is jointly organized with the Persatuan Thalassaemia Sabah, UPPM Inanam, KRT Pekan Menggatal, JKFDB Pekan Menggatal, Kota Kinabalu Red Crescent and HQE II Blood Tranfusion Medical Department.

“The organizers have prepared goodies of 100 five kg rice bags for the earliest donors. Therefore, let us succeed in a campaign that can save the lives of others,” said Alix.
