Wet, dry markets to stay open unless Covid-19 cases detected

-

SIBU: Wet and dry markets at Sibujaya will remain open unless Covid-19 positive cases are detected, said Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) deputy chairman Wong Ching Yong.

In a press statement yesterday, he said pursuant to the standard operating procedure (SOP) by the

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), these markets would only close in an event positive cases are detected.

“In the event a Movement Control Order (MCO) is enforced, SRDC will inform the public regarding the new SOP,” he said.
