Foreign security guards without identification documents arrested

JOHOR BAHRU: Police arrested four foreign security guards during separate checks at a housing estate in Mutiara Rini, Skudai, here on Thursday when they failed to produce their personal identification documents and valid work permit.

Iskandar Puteri police chief ACP Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said two of them, aged 29 and 34, were detained during the first check at about 11.30am at a security booth at the housing estate.

During the second check, at about 11.30 pm, the police arrested another two security guards, a 23year-old Pakistani national and a 28-year-old Indian national, he said in a statement on Friday.
