-

PAPAR: Perkasa Realty’s Business Partner pilot project is expected to collaborate with local entrepreneurs here, as an effort to increase business competitiveness during these difficult times, when the Covid-19 pandemic is crippling economic activity as a whole.

Perkasa Realty Sdn Bhd (PRSB), under the program, provides space for local entrepreneurs to promote and sell their products, where a grocery shop An-Nur Enterprise was selected as the pioneer to operate at the Sedco premises in Kawang, Kinarut here.

The programme is one of PRSB’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), where the shop owner will be offered facility upgrades and promotions.

“Support in terms of increasing business competitiveness is needed not only during this current economic uncertainties, but also with the construction of the Pan-Borneo highway in this area and new franchise competitors which will definitely affect their business.

“An-Nur Enterprise has been renting this space for over 10 years and the owner has decided to purchase this property.

“With that planning in hand, this company will be given flexibility by only providing 5 percent deposit instead of the usual 10 per cent, while the monthly payment is reduced to 30 per cent at the beginning of the program implementation.

“The programme will be extended to other districts such as Sook, Keningau and nearby districts,” said a statement provided by the company.

The Perkasa Realty’s Business Partner pilot project was launched last week by PRSB chairman Ruslan Muharam and general manager Joidin Gahim.
