PropertyGuru increases market share, continues proptech innovation with latest launch
KUALA LUMPUR: PropertyGuru widened its lead as Malaysia’s No. 1 property website, increasing its market share to 63 per cent based on six-month average from October 2020 to March 2021, as per the latest SimilarWeb data.
PropertyGuru continues to surge ahead with 60 per cent traffic share as per Comscore.
Furthermore, PropertyGuru continues to be the ‘Most Preferred’ property website, clocking a monthly average of over 12 million visits from January 2021 to March 2021
With this high-growth, PropertyGuru is nearly two times (1.89-fold) bigger than the next player in the market and grew website traffic by over 50 per cent (quarter over quarter) – a clear indication that it has increasingly been the chosen platform for home buyers in Malaysia.
With over 500,000 listings on the platform, PropertyGuru provides the most home choices in Malaysia.
This contributes to the popularity of PropertyGuru among home seekers alongside the virtual viewing solutions it has offered since the pandemic last year.
Malaysian home seekers have embraced virtual tours more than ever before, as PropertyGuru saw a 62 per cent increase in 3D virtual viewing compared to the year before.
