Police intensify inspection during Aidiladha

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) yesterday reminded the public not to make any visit or travel interstate in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha today (July 20).

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said the police would also increase inspection on standard operating procedures (SOP) compliance by mobilising numerous SOP compliance monitoring teams with focus to be given on residential areas and public areas.

He said the PDRM was committed to taking stern action against those found to have purposely defied the SOP. — Bernama
