-

KOTA KINABALU: Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the state are encouraged to remain active in business, including being more creative in producing new products to meet the market demand.

Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Wetrom Bahanda, said it was a healthy competition for Bumiputera entrepreneurs and ensures that they will continue to progress in their businesses.

“The production of local products such as food supplements or health care-based products is among the potential areas that has much potential to be developed. Therefore, we welcome Bumiputera companies to venture into producing products that involve food supplements, health supplements and so on,” he said at the launching of Real Beauty Sdn Bhd’s new products, ArbyFitz and ArbyJello, here on Tuesday.

Also present were the Chief Executive Officer of Real Beauty, Rejanah Bahanda and the General

Manager of Real Beauty, Aaron Bradley Masikam.

Commenting on the new Real Beauty product, Wetrom said that the production of the two products is appropriate as today’s society faces challenges in maintaining nutrition and personal health.

“These two products are dedicated to health care, especially in weight control. We want health but our lifestyle is not healthy, so it is a good product for a healthy life. The most important thing is that it contributes to the health of our society.

“Congratulations to Real Beauty who diligently produces this product. It is not only for the profit of the company but is also for the community,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rejanah said Real Beauty took almost a year since to research and develop products.

She said that the trial product released earlier received positive feedback and that encouraged the company to market it widely.
