SCCC learns about safe drinking water technology
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) ended its study tour in Guangdong, China with a visit to Shangyuan Technology Group in Suzhou.
SCCC President Datuk Frankie Liew was welcomed by Wang Yang, CEO of Suzhou Shangyuan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
He also had discussions with Jin Hui, Chairman of Xiaomi Smart Ecological Chain, and Xu Mingzong, Chairman of Henan Yizhenhala Certification Service Co., Ltd.
Shangyuan Technology Group is an innovative high-tech enterprise deeply involved in the field of drinking water safety. The group focuses on technological innovation to improve and enhance urban and rural water safety. Their emphasis is on empowering water services with intelligence, creating integrated solutions for urban and rural water supply.
Wang informed Liew that since its establishment, the group has concentrated on the water industry, incorporating “membrane technology, intelligent equipment, and the Internet of Things” as its core components. It tightly integrates membrane materials, membrane components, AI intelligent equipment, and the new generation of information technologies represented by big data, container cloud, digital twins, edge computing, and artificial intelligence.
The group’s headquarters is in Wujiang, Suzhou, with six subsidiary companies and three business divisions covering a wide range of areas. The group plays a crucial role in urban and rural water supply, smart water construction, intelligent distributed water plant construction, production, and domestic wastewater treatment, and household drinking water.
Additionally, the group has formulated a development strategy called “One Body, Two Wings” and “Three in One” to focus on drinking water safety and the development of intelligent water services.
“One Body, Two Wings” refers to the core technology of “ultrafiltration membrane,” creating ultrafiltration AI intelligent water purification equipment that achieves “unmanned, drug-free, and electricity-free” operation in the water production process, addressing drinking water safety issues in a stable, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Furthermore, the group focuses on “Internet of Things, big data, container cloud, edge computing” to create a Panshi digital platform that deeply integrates with water business, offering a smart water digital solution.
“Three in One” involves a water service operations expert team (with over 20 years of experience in water industry construction management), a membrane technology application expert team (with 15 years of membrane technology application and water plant construction experience), and a digital technology expert team (with deep application top-level design experience and industry digitization empowerment experience based on industrial internet, IoT, and big data applications).
The group relies on the independently developed Panshi platform as the basic technological support, using new-generation information technology to empower water service development and create a “distributed visual management platform for integrated development of urban and rural areas, township water visual management platform, and comprehensive application solution for smart water services in the entire region.”
“Not forgetting our original intention, forging ahead” has been the guiding principle of Shangyuan Technology Group, closely following China’s policy direction.
Upholding the mission of “using technology to ensure urban and rural water safety,” the group contributes to the integrated development of urban and rural water supply, striving to create a better life for the people.
SCCC also visited Guangzhou and Shenzhen to mark this year’s 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and to deepen cooperation and exchange under the Belt and Road Initiative.
