Bigger treat and more fun at upcoming ‘KL City Amazing Race’

KUALA LUMPUR: KL-lites are in for a bigger treat and more fun as more attractive prizes will be on offer in this year’s Edu-Fun’s ‘KL City Amazing Race’ slated for March 2.

The race will be flagged off at 9am from Wisma KFC at Jalan Sultan Ismail here.

Participan­ts stand to win exciting prizes through a lucky draw while enjoying quality time with family and friends at the fun event.

Organised by Triple Platform Sdn Bhd (formerly known as KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd), Edu-Fun’s ‘KL City Amazing Race’ will provide lots of enjoyable moments as participan­ts explore the nooks and corners of Kuala Lumpur city in a fun way.

Following the success of the last three races held by the Edu-Fun unit, this year’s race is expected to be more challengin­g and exhilarati­ng where some 200 participan­ts are expected to see action.

The uniqueness of the ‘KL City Amazing Race’ lies in its interestin­g concept where participan­ts have a chance to visit cultural hotspots and take part in distinctiv­e Malaysian activities.

They will travel around the city by public transporta­tion and by foot.

First to fifth-placed winners will be rewarded with prizes worth RM1000, RM600, RM400, RM300 and RM200 as well as KFC vouchers worth RM800, RM400, RM300, RM200 and RM100 respective­ly.

Teams placed sixth to tenth will receive prizes worth RM100 as well as KFC vouchers worth RM50 each.

The event is open to adults aged 18 years and above with entry fee set at RM160 per team.

The maximum number of members per team is two. Participan­ts are encouraged to sign up as a team.

Registrati­on is open until Feb 27 or once the maximum numbers of teams have been reached.

A short briefing and collection of goodie bags will take place on Feb 28, at 6pm on Level 3, Wisma KFC here.
