SIM brings out the best in its students
KUCHING: Time and again, Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) has confi rmed its position as one of Singapore’s most preferred Private Education Institutes with 49 years of heritage, over 98,000 graduates and a host of awards and accolades.
SIM knows that it takes more than classroom excellence to inspire its students to succeed. Its approach towards an all-rounded and holistic education experience is to support its intended student outcome -- to let them bring out their best whether it’s in the classroom, or beyond.
Beyond the classroom, an exciting student life awaits its students. There are year-round activities from more than 70 student clubs offering students ample opportunities to pursue their interests in arts, culture, and sports and develop personal skills in communication and leadership. Through competitions and activities, students gain exposure, build community bonds and networks that will benefit them later in life.
Infrastructure Facilities
SIM ensures that its studentcentric campuses are outfitted with the latest in technology and facilities to enhance students’ learning experience. SIM campuses are enabled with highspeed wireless Internet access to connect students to a wealth of information and online services.
SIM houses a well-equipped hostel with a gym, a dance studio, tennis courts and more to provide our students with a holistic educational experience at SIM.
To cater to its fast-growing student population, SIM has embarked on a $ 300 million Campus Development Master Plan to more than double its main campus over two phases to be completed in 2014. The construction of the expanded campus will include new facilities such as performing arts theatre, sport halls and roof-top tennis courts.
Blend of Cultures
With a blend of 40 nationalities from across the globe, SIM’s global mix of cultural diversities continues to grow -- this provides an excellent platform for cultural exchange and knowledge sharing.
