Wan Junaidi: Let’s work for a better Santubong
KUCHING: Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar pledged to take better care of his constituents after he was re- elected for the third term as Santubong MP.
In a statement to The Borneo Post yesterday, Wan Junaidi said the development momentum in Santubong would continue.
All promises made during the run-up to the May 5 general election would be fulfilled, he said.
“I promise to see that their needs and wants are met. But these will be based on the capability of the current government. All issues can be solved if the people give their cooperation.”
He added that he would not promise something that he couldn’t deliver and called for the people’s support to build a better Santubong in the next five years.

deputy speaker of the Dewan Rakyat before the dissolution of Parliament, expressed his gratitude to the voters of Santubong which saw his winning margin increased from 11,945 votes in the 12th general election in 2008 to 20,936 votes this time around.
For the record, his vote-majority is second only to Petra Jaya MP Datuk Fadillah Yusof’s 21,443.
