Motorcyclist dies from head, chest injuries

SIBU: A man died on the spot while his wife was seriously injured in a road accident at 11am yesterday at Mile 8 Oya Road.

Christopher, 27, succumbed to head and chest injuries while his 21-year- old wife injured her spine and fractured her left thigh.

The couple was riding a motorcycle when it rammed into the rear of a 4-wheel- drive vehicle and was hit by a lorry from behind.

Christopher and his wife were said to have been thrown off the bike when they were hit from behind by the lorry.
