‘Buy Back Recycling Campaign’ this Sunday at Hijau FC

KUCHING: Members of the public are invited to exchange their recyclable materials at the ' Buy Back Recycling Campaign' to be held at Hijau Food Centre at Jalan Stutong here from 8.30am to 11am this Sunday.

The campaign is organised by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) to promote recycling.

Recyclable items are exchangeab­le with bonus points which can be used to redeem household items. To promote this campaign, the council is giving double bonus points based on the type of recyclable items.

Recyclable­s include old corrugated carton boxes, old newspapers, mixed paper, black and white paper, scrap cans (milk and biscuit tins), plastic drinking bottles, other plastics (detergent and shampoo bottles), old car battery and aluminum cans.
