MAS’ nationwide sale offers up to 72 pct discount on business class travel
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airline Systems Bhd (MAS) is offering a nationwide sale where discounts of up to 72 per cent will be given for fares within Malaysia and from Malaysia to various destinations in Southeast Asia, North Asia, South Asia, Australia, North America and Europe.
The discounts are valid until May 24 for the travel period between May 8 and November 3.
The discounts are being offered following the overwhelming response to the airline’s general elections promotional campaign recently.
Regional senior vice-president Malaysia and Asean Muzammil Mohamad said in recognition of the great response from its customers, MAS was happy to announce the deals for both domestic and international destinations from Malaysia, plus great offers for business class travel.
He said these included mindblowing 50 per cent discounts on the A380 business class from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong starting from as low as RM1,999 return.
“On the home front, with an all- inclusive return economy class fare from as low as RM300, travellers can now fly from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, Labuan, Tawau, Sandakan, Bintulu, Miri and Kuching.
“Meanwhile, incredibly low economy class return fares starting from RM150 for travel from Kuala Lumpur to Alor Setar and Penang are up for grabs,” he said in a statement.
The all-inclusive return economy class fares to all European destinations – London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Istanbul – start from only RM2,799 and RM2,399 for Istanbul.
