Macdougall team the overall champ of St Columba joggerthon

MIRI: MacDougall Team is the overall champion in the joggerthon held at SMK St Columba here recently.

In second place was Danson team while Chong team came in third.

SUPP Piasau branch chairman Datuk Sebastian Ting flagged off the run in which 500 students, teachers and parents participated.

The annual joggerthon was to provide a platform for students to show their talent in sports and hone their team work and communication skills.

It was also to raise funds for repairing and upgrading the school’s facilities and organising various co-curricular activities.

These projects cost some RM20,000. The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) - the organiser of the joggerthon - thanked generous donors for sponsoring the participants. It also hoped they would continue to support the school to help ensure the healthy development of the education system.
