Tupperware tribute to Mother’s Day

MIRI: Mother’s Day is fast approaching, with many functions lined up to celebrate the special occasion for mothers in appreciation of their commitment and sacrifices.

While hotels, associations, NGOs and families are busy working out tributes for the special day, the Tupperware distributor here is calling on its agents and the public to attend a Mother’s Day get-together to be held at a leading hotel here on May 12.

Themed ‘Mum, You Are A Queen Of My Heart’, the ballroom celebration starts at 1.30pm, with tickets now available at RM45 each or RM450 per table.

According to organising coordinator Salmah Ismail, the tickets can also be used to claim Tupperware products.

“There is no dress code but come one and all to make the gathering a happy occasion,” she said.

Activities include a birthday ‘do’ for those born in May, a lucky draw with attractive prizes, and best karaoke singers and `Best Dressed’ lady.

“Mother’s Day is for everybody and of course especially for our mothers who are so dear to us,” said Salmah.

“This is the time to reciprocate their sacrifices by treating them to parties and meals.”
