FAME International College to participate in BPIEF 2014
KUCHING: FAME International College (formerly known as FTMS International College) is opening its doors for April intake.
FAME will be participating in the Borneo Post International Education Fair (BPIEF) at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching ( BCCK) on March 22-23, 10am to 6pm. Visitors to the BPIEF are encouraged to visit their booth and stand a chance to win a mystery gift.
FAME International College offers Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Diploma in Business Administration, Diploma in Business Information Systems, and Diploma in Entrepreneurship. It also offers Certified Accounting Technician (CAT Qualification) and The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA Qualification).
All courses offered by FAME are fully accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education ( MOHE) and Malaysian Qualification Agency ( MQA), ensuring the quality of courses offered.
Diploma in Accounting and Finance aims to instil students’ confidence, equips students with both technical and soft skills for the dynamic accounting and finance sectors and prepares them to be an accountant, auditor, treasurer or tax consultant.
Upon completion of Diploma in Business Administration with FAME, graduates will have gained practical skills which are relevant to gaining employment in a variety of roles in today’s business environment.
Diploma in Business Information Systems enables students to effectively manage critical information technology resources by providing students with an experiential understanding of the fundamental infrastructure components of Information Technology that include computer hardware, networking, operating systems, application software, etc.
Diploma in Entrepreneurship is designed to produce entrepreneurs and executives by preparing them for the challenge of setting their own business or taking on an entrepreneurial role in a corporation. Students will develop knowledge of entrepreneurship skills with insights from specialist management disciplines and entrepreneurship practices.
Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) in FAME provides students with a solid foundation in finance, accounting and all necessary technical skills and knowledge required to perform an accounting supportrole. The CAT qualification is internationally recognised and highly regarded by employers.
Students become a Chartered Certified Accountant upon completion of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA Qualification) and are able to work in any aspect of finance or management in any business. Students studying for their ACCA Qualification are also eligible to obtain a Bsc Honours Degree in Applied Accountancy from Oxford Brookes University, UK.
FAME International College is affiliated with other universities globally so that students are able to obtain a Bachelor Degree within a year to a year and a half following the Diplomas. Students are able to further their studies at selected universities such as University of Sunderland ( UK), University of Portsmouth ( UK), University of Cumbria ( UK), Oxford Brookes University ( UK), BPP University College ( UK), University of Derby ( UK), Anglia Ruskin University ( UK), Southern Cross University (Australia), Management Development Institute of Singapore ( MDIS) and FTMS Global ( KL).
For the upcoming April 2014 intake, FAME International College is having irresistible promotions for its selected Diploma courses which include a rebate up to RM1500 plus free merchandise for enrolments before March 31, 2014.
The college also gives consideration to those who are serving in the National Service Training Programme ( PLKN) as their service will only be completed sometime in March 2014. These National Service trainees who are interested in studying the selected Diploma courses will be eligible for a rebate of RM1,800 upon enrolment.
In addition, FAME International College is giving away scholarships to students who qualify. For Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Diploma in Business Administration and Diploma in Business Information Systems and Diploma in Entrepreneurship, and Certified Accounting Technician ( CAT) course, students who achieved 7As and above in their SPM are eligible to apply for scholarships.
The total amount of scholarships to be given out is RM100, 000. Interested students are advised to apply as soon as possible as seats are limited.
