Naim to hold simultaneous blood donation drives

KUCHING: Naim Holdings Bhd will hold blood drives in Kuching, Miri and Bintulu tomorrow (April 12) from 9am to 2pm.

The donation locations are its Kuching Sales Gallery at Rock Commercial Centre, Jalan Green; Miri office at first floor Concourse, Permy Mall; and Bintulu Sales Gallery at No.1, Old Airport Place.

In a press statement yesterday, Naim head of corporate communications Caroline Yeo said as a responsible business entity Naim has always operated with an awareness of the interest of the communities within which it operates.

“This campaign is organised to carry the message that everyone can do their part in making our community a better place, and that every little bit of help goes a long way,” she said.

Yeo said various value- added activities will be organised in conjunction with the campaign.

“These activities, which will be held at our Kuching Sales Gallery include free blood pressure and glucose check, and skin analysis.

“In addition, there will be a free special health talk entitled ‘ Back and Knee Injuries’ by Dr Azani Hassan, the resident orthopaedic consultant at Normah Medical Specialist Centre at 11am on the same day. We invite all to be part of these activities.”
