Batch 36, 37 IBS College students complete 10-week industrial training
MIRI: IBS College’s Diploma of Business Administration students from batch 36 and 37 completed their 10-week industrial training last month.
Lecturers from the college recently visited the respective companies to strengthen ties between the college and the companies.
The companies included Green Summit Group of Companies, Petra Energy Resources Bhd, Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Resort and Christopher Sim and Co.
IBS College programme coordinator Cynthia Lian was satisfied with the progress of the students and thankful that there are companies willing to invest their time and resources to train the students and allow them to apply both hard and soft skills acquired from their studies.
One student, who underwent her industrial training with Green Summit Group, said the experience was a real eyeopener on what it is like to work in the corporate sector.
Aside from companies here, students are also allowed to perform their industrial training elsewhere according to their preference and convenience.
