SOVO aims to have 100 offices regionally globally by 2016

PETALING JAYA: SOVO Sdn Bhd ( SOVO), a smarter office solutions provider, aims to have 100 offices regionally and globally by 2016.

SOVO was conceived to meet the growing demand of flexible and instant office spaces, especially for start-up firms and companies who want to expand regionally in the fastest and most efficient way possible.

Its chief strategic officer, Danesh P, said currently it has nine offices located in Amcorp, JW Marriot Hotel, Premiera Hotel, The Intermark, Menara Binjai, Logan Heritage in Penang and in Armada Hotel, which is launched yesterday.

Internatio­nal Trade and Industry Deputy Minister, Datuk Hamim Samuri, was also present to officiate the launching of the new office.

“Johor Baharu office will be equipped by the fourth quarter this year and Ipoh offices will be up in another four weeks,” Danesh told reporters at a media briefi ng here.

SOVO would also have offices in Thailand and Indonesia by fourth quarter of 2014 and would embark expansion plans regionally such as Cambodia and Vietnam, Danesh said.

“To date we have 2,500 entreprene­urs as clients and offer a value propositio­n starting from RM30 a month for rent, utilising the serviced office, virtual office ( SOVO) concept,” Danesh said.

He said among the clients that cater to the concept are startup entreprenu­ers, small and medium enterprise­s, small and medium industries and even multinatio­nal companies.

“For those venturing into business, we help them with their business plans, accounting, cash flow, marketing and business concierge advisory services such as apprehendi­ng agreements,” Danesh said.
