‘Youths have role in achieving developed nation status’
SIBU: Youths are an asset as they play an important role in ensuring that the country would achieve developed nation status.
Lingga assemblywoman Simoi Peri said this when officiating at the closing of the ‘ Kawan Ku Sayang Keluarga Ku Kenang’ programme for youths under Lingga constituency at Kemunyang Youth Camp here recently.
“The government has built a platform for the people of this state with programmes for youths. Thus, youths must strive to improve themselves in order to achieve success and contribute to national development,” she said.
Commenting on the programme, Simoi said it was one of the best platforms to inspire youths.
She hoped participants would share their experiences at the programme with youths in their areas.
