UK education fair targets school leavers in Kuching
KUCHING: AusEd-UniEd Group (AUG) conducted at Pullman Hotel an education fair comprising 18 booths from 14 institutions of higher learning and education consultancy firms based in the United Kingdom ( UK) yesterday.
Representatives of each institution of higher learning were at their booths to cater to those interested to pursue studies in the United Kingdom.
According to AUG East Malaysia regional manager Karin Kon, the education fair targets students who had just received their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM), Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia ( STPM) results and other school leavers.
“We hope to assist those interested in doing higher education in the UK by making recommendations and giving advice,” she said.
Among the UK-based institutions of higher learning and education consultancy firms manning booths at the fair were BPP University, University College Birmingham, Brunel University West London, University of East Anglia, University of Glasgow, Middlesex University, Northumbria University Newcastle, University of Salford Manchester, The University of Sheffield, Teeside University, York St John University, Ashbourne Independent Sixth Form College Kensington, Bellerbys College, Cambridge Education Group, The Glasgow School of Art, INTO, Kaplan Financial and Navitas.
Kon said those yet to discover their educational paths can consult education consultancy firms such as Bellerbys College, Cambridge Education Group, INTO and Navitas.
She revealed that AUG's services are free- of- charge and they can help students realise their dreams of studying in the UK by giving them all the assistance they need.
All they need to do is contact AUG and feel free to enquire about anything on education in the UK.
For this year's edition, AUG has organised the education fair throughout the country with Kuching being their last stop.
