Cool Blog opens first outlet in Sarawak
KUCHING: Peninsular Malaysia-renowned smoothies and bubble tea drinks bar - Cool Blog – has chosen Kuching as their test bed in opening their first outlet in Sarawak.
The bar was officially opened at Kuching International Airport (KIA) recently by Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Bumiputera Entrepreneur Development) Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais.
Cool Blog business franchise manager Edward Leong Kim Onn said it was a great honour for the franchise to have finally reached Sarawak’s shores and believed that the brand would become more popular with an outlet at the airport.

For those who are not familiar with the Cool Blog brand, Leong explained that it was popular in Peninsular Malaysia and believed that many Sarawakians who had gone over there would have recognised the brand.
The franchise currently has 300 types of products and 25 flavours to choose from.
Naroden meanwhile congratulated the franchisee for bringing a renowned brand to Sarawak and hoped that more Sarawakians would bring in more of such business to the state in the future.
“What is important is that Sarawakians are able to bring in new things (businesses) here. Cool Blog is one brand that should have an outlet here, and thanks to the effort of a few locals, it is possible for Cool Blog to open an outlet in Sarawak now,” he said.
Airtone Enterprise is the sole franchisee in the state and according to its representatives they were thrilled to have opened an outlet in Sarawak.
They said they were big fans of the Cool Blog brand and products and hoped that Sarawakians too would have the same love and enthusiasm.
Kuching is the second location after Labuan in East Malaysia which has a Cool Blog outlet.
