LIAM elects new ofice bearers for new term
KUCHI NG: The L i fe Insurance Associat ion of Malaysia ( LIAM) has elected Toi See Jong as its president for the term 2015/2016 at the Annual General Meeting held on March 24, 2015.
Toi succeeds Vincent Kwo, who has held the position of president from 2012 and 2015 and has served the maximum term of three years.
Toi See Jong, is the CEO of Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd.
( TMLM) with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Toi charted his career path with the first position based in UK.
He has suc c e s s f u l ly spearheaded and managed f inancial organisations in various positions over the years, amongst others include Appointed Actuary and chief executive officer in Malaysia before taking on other senior positions in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Meanwhi le, LIAM Vice President, Bill Lisle, 50, is the CEO of AIA Malaysia who brings with him over 25 years of experience in the industry.
Lisle has equipped himself with extensive knowledge holding a variety of senior positions including managing director, South Asia for Aviva as wel l as chief executive officer of Prudential Malaysia and Prudential Korea.
He was appointed as the CEO of AIA Malaysia in December 2012 and has led the largescale and highly complex integrat ion of AIA and ING’s insurance operations resulting in a single license and brand for the new enlarged entity, AIA Bhd – a leading l i fe insurer in Malaysia with total assets worth RM46 million.
