Fame Internatio­nal College to hold more open days

KUCHING: Fame Internatio­nal College will continue holding open days this weekend due to the overwhelmi­ng response to its previous open day.

The college is offering a Samsung Tab 4 plus RM1,000 rebate for the total course fees to students who register for the April 2015 intake or a 6 per cent rebate from the total course fee.

The limited Samsung Tab 4 promotion is on a first come, first served basis.

For the April 2015 intake, Fame will have its Diploma in Entreprene­urship, Diploma in Business Administra­tion, Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and Associatio­n of Chartered Certified Accountant­s (ACCA) Knowledge Level Part 1.

All courses offered by Fame Internatio­nal College are fully accredited by the Ministry of Education and Malaysian Qualificat­ions Agency, ensuring their quality.

Fame is also conducting a 12-week Internatio­nal English Language Testing System (IELTS) programme next month for those desiring to improve their English language skills.

The programme is also suitable for students preparing to sit for IELTS -- an internatio­nally recognised qualificat­ion and entry requiremen­t for universiti­es in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

IELTS is also used by government­s as an English language proficienc­y guide when issuing visas.

Through this English programme, students can expect to equip themselves with reading, writing, listening and speaking skills as well as be awarded with a certificat­e of attendance.

Fame Internatio­nal College is affiliated with other universiti­es globally so students are able to obtain a bachelor’s degree within a year to a year and a half following a diploma.

Students are able to further their studies at the University of Sunderland, University of Portsmouth, University of Cumbria, Oxford Brookes University, BPP University College, University of Derby and Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom; Southern Cross University in Australia; Management Developmen­t Institute of Singapore (MDIS) and FTMS Global in Kuala Lumpur.

Students can apply for National Higher Education Fund Corporatio­n (PTPTN) low-interest loans (1 per cent) and since March 1, students can register for their National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) account at Fame.

The college will also assist students with their PTPTN applicatio­ns.

Fame has its own interest free, flexible monthly repayment scheme for up to 25 months.

For those who qualify, payments can also be made from the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Account 2.

This month, the Fame campus will be open from 8.30am to 9.30pm on weekdays, 8.30am to 5pm on Saturdays and 9am to 4pm on Sundays.

Education consultant­s will meet with students and parents at the campus located at Brighton Square, Jalan Song.
