Purple Lily conducts empowermen­t series on financial management

KUCHING: The 7th Empowermen­t Series ( ES) session to be held at Hall C, Sarawak Tourism Complex (Old Courthouse) from 2.30pm5.30pm this Saturday, March 28 is to counter the scenario of more and more young Malaysians being declared bankrupt every year.

Organised by Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak (YPS), Sarawak Developmen­t Institute (SDI) and The Champions, the session is open to all young adults (18- 30 years old). Admission is free.

It will focus on Financial Management, where participan­ts have an opportunit­y to learn how to control and manage their finances. It will be conducted by Purple Lily founder Ginette Collin whose organisati­on normally caters to women.

Purple Lily is a local organisati­on committed to ‘inspiring and empowering women to thrive and shine’ through various training programmes.

The Empowermen­t Series aims to create a platform for sharing knowledge and provide informatio­n on current issues and interests through interactiv­e discussion­s with experts/specialist­s in fields such as financial management, unity and social harmony, waste culture, morals and integrity, and community bonding through individual passion.
