Sri Aman’s Kompleks Penyayang first of its kind in nation

SIBU: ‘ Kompleks Penyayang’ ( intergrate­d complex) in Sri Aman is the first of its kind in the country providing various services under one roof for the convenienc­e of the public, says Minister of Women, Family and Community Developmen­t Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim.

She said there were plans to set up one in each state, but due to the budget recalibrat­ion, places where land are already readily available would be considered first.

Nangka assemblyma­n Dr Annuar Rapaee, SK Abang Ali Alumni Associatio­n ( Paskaa) chairman Datuk Mohamad Yusnar Matalie, and headmaster of the school Mahmud Ahad were among those present.

The first integrated complex in the country would house, among others, a community- based rehabilita­tion centre, a children activity centre and a senior citizens activity centre.

At the function, the minister also launched SK Abang Ali’s corporate video.

She urged those yet to join the alumni to do so to contribute to their alma mater.
