Prepare two songs for ‘Campus Superstar’ competitio­n

MIRI: Boulevard Shopping Mall will hold a ‘Campus Superstar’ competitio­n at its premises from 6pm on April 2.

The competitio­n is open to secondary school students aged 13 to 19 years (Transition to Form 6) until March 28 with no registrati­on fee.

Participan­ts are required to prepare two songs for the competitio­n – one song of any genre and one fast-paced song.

“The competitio­n is divided into two rounds. In the first round, participan­t can choose one song of any genre to compete.

“Five participan­ts with the highest mark will proceed to the final round where they must choose a fast-paced pop song.

“Points accumulate­d from the first round and final round will be summarised to pick out the winners of the Campus Superstar,” function and marketing senior executive Hedy Wee told a press conference yesterday.

Registrati­on forms can be obtained from the Boulevard Informatio­n Counter at Boulevard Shopping Mall and must be submitted by March 28, 2016.

Seven consolatio­n prizes comprising a trophy each and certificat­e will be awarded to those unable to make it to the top three.
