The suspect child abuse case allegedly involved a 13-month-old baby boy and and a baby girl aged four months. Earlier, Rosly said the nursery owner had allegedly sent photographs of the baby boy with bruise marks on the face via WhatsApp to the child’s mother, a civil servant about 4.10pm on May 25.

Subsequently, at 8.42pm, the mother received another WhatsApp message from a nursery employee informing her that her son was abused by the nursery owner.

On Tuesday, the police received a report from the nursery owner after she had received photographs of the abused children at the nursery through WhatsApp.

“The nursery owner had suspected that the offence was committed by her two former employees, both in their early 20s, who had run away on Saturday before they uploaded a photograph of a baby girl who was gagged with a diaper on the Internet,” said Rosly.

The mother of the baby boy also lodged a police report stating there were bruise marks on the victim’s face due to the alleged abuse. On Wednesday, the police also received a report from the nursery’s former employees, denying they had abused the children and claiming the nursery owner had abused them.
