PNB Hotel teams up with BP Healthcare to provide Doctor2u services to guests

-

KUALA LUMPUR: PNB Perdana Hotel and Suites On The Park has partnered with BP Healthcare Group to provide its guests with easy access to Doctor2u, a mobile healthcare application for immediate medical attention and treatment during their stay.

Its marketing and communications manager, Zaid Jamaludin said the mobile app would enable a qualified doctor to come to their aid during an emergency, including in the early hours of the morning.

“The doctor will come to their rescue at any time after being alerted.

“If we were to wait for the ambulance, it may take some time.

“We are teaming up with BP Healthcare to enable our guests to get immediate medical attention for the on-demand healthcare with fastest response time,” he told a press conference after signing the partnership agreement with Doctor2u chief financial officer Keegan Flynn yesterday.

Doctor2u is accessible to anyone requesting a Malaysian registered qualified doctor at his door step, via IPhone and Android mobile devices, in under 60 minutes.

Meanwhile, Flynn said Doctor2u is offering a special rate to guests of the PNB Perdana Hotel and Suites On The Park for its services.

Besides PNB Perdana Hotel and Suites On The Park, he said DoubleTree by Hilton and Fraser Residence had also subscribed to Doctor2u.

“Last week, we had three cases at DoubleTree by Hilton and four cases at Fraser Residence,” he added.

Doctor2U charges a fixed rate of RM250 from (8am to 8pm) and RM420 (8pm to 8am) per request.

It has over 600 doctors, including paediatricians and cardiologists, under its wing nationwide, providing round-the-clock services to patients, he added.

He said the free Doctor2U app requires patients to submit a request furnished with information on their medical issues or symptoms, after which a doctor within a 20km radius will be alerted. — Bernama
