Panasonic eyes RM130 mln in revenue from system solutions
SUBANG JAYA: Panasonic ( M) Sdn Bhd aims to raise its system solutions business revenue by 30 per cent this year to RM130 million, driven by five key industry categories, Deputy Managing Director Hiroyuki Muto said.
The f ive categor ies are p r op e r t y deve lopment , e duc a t i on, ho spi t a l i t y, retail, as well as broadcast and cinematog raphy, he told reporters at its system solut ion business product launching ceremony, here, yesterday.
“Unlike other electrical and electronic providers, Panasonic offers an extensive range of integrated business solutions.
“It will help businesses to conduct operations beyond international borders apart from improving productivity and reducing total cost of ownership,” Hiroyuki said.
At the event, eight products were introduced by Panasonic to add to its extensive range of system solutions product line.
The pr o du c t s we r e communication server, high def inition video conference system, video management software, projectors, scanner and camera.
“We also offer professional s e r v ic es to cu s t ome r s which include consultation service, syst em design, demonstrations, integration of products and deployment,” Panasonic Country Head System Solut ions Seelan Kandasamy said. On market share of its product categories, Seelan s a i d cu r r e n t ly Panasonic led the c om mu n i c a t i o n and professional audio segment, as well as the video category, while its closed- circuit television ( CCTV) segment came in second.
“We aim to lead the CCTV category in the near future as the difference in the share market is only 0.5 per cent,” he said. — Bernama
