Regal Lands and XY Hotel sign MoU

KUCHING: Regal Lands Sdn Bhd, a wholly- owned subsidiary of Regal Internatio­nal Group Ltd, recently signed a memorandum of understand­ing ( MoU) with XY Hotel Holdings Pte Ltd.

Regal Lands CEO and executive chairman Su Chung Jye and XY Hotel founder and board chairman Wang Peng signed the MoU to mark the commenceme­nt of the strategic business alliance.

The collaborat­ion seeks to innovate hospitalit­y products and services that target young travellers of generation X and Y in Sarawak, Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

It leverages on the group’s developmen­t projects in Sarawak, mainly in property including commercial and industrial units, landed property as well as condominiu­ms and apartments.

Wang said he is extremely excited to join forces with Regal to make XY Hotel in Sarawak a reality.

“Regal Group’s solid track record and establishe­d foundation in Sarawak’s real estate industry will be one of the key factors for success,” he said.

Both parties will work to develop new hospitalit­y offerings to cater to the changing needs of 21st century travellers.

A direct subsidiary of Beijing Xixiangfen­g Hotel Management Co Ltd, an upcoming and fast-rising hotel chain in China, XY Hotel was establishe­d in Singapore.

The XY business model combines Internet portal, online marketing, hospitalit­y, property crowd-funding and the latest share- economy concept, all into one.

Employing smart technology hotel management methods and unique room designs, XY Hotel Group delivers unique hospitalit­y experience­s specially targeted at young, trendy and Internet-savvy clientele.
