Kereta Mewah launches third generation Saga
MIRI: Proton authorised dealer Kereta Mewah Sdn Bhd launched the long-awaited third generation Saga at its Saberkas Commercial Centre showroom yesterday.
The dealership will also hold a three- day launch from tomorrow (Friday) at its showroom with test drives available to prospective buyers and light refreshments served.
The new Proton Saga is available in four variants: Standard Manual, Standard Auto, Executive Auto and Premium Auto, with on the road prices between RM38,800 and RM47,800.
All variants are powered by the same 1.3L VVT engine, which generates a maximum output of 94hp at 5,750 rpm with maximum torque of 120 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
Other features across all variants include: Ecodrive Assist, reflector halogen headlamps, rear fog lamp, front and rear parking sensors, tilt- adjustable steering wheel, USB charging ports, Bluetooth connectivity, height- adjustable driver’s seat, 420-litre boot with space saver spare tyre, folding rear bench seat and two airbags.
The Executive Auto has additional features of 14-inch alloy wheels, electric control door mirrors, rear spoiler, ABS brakes with EBD and brake assist.
The top- of-the-range Premium Auto incorporates 15-inch alloy wheels, Electronic Stability Control ( ESC), Hill-hold assist, electric control door mirrors, rear spoiler, ABS brakes with EBD with brake assist, reverse camera with integrated rearview mirror display, audio controls at the steering wheel and tinted film.
Apart from these features, the car has achieved a four- star rating in the Asean NCAP ( New Car Assessment Programme) and comes with a five-year warranty.
There are six colours to choose from – Fire Red, Cotton White, Topaz Blue, Sterling Silver, Midnight Black and Metal Grey.
