Huawei’s new customer centre to help drive Malaysia’s digital economy transformation
KUALA LUMPUR: Huawei’s new Customer Solution Integration and Innovation Experience Centre (CSIC) here will help drive the nation’s digital economy transformation.
Chief executive officer for Malaysia Abraham Liu said Huawei’s customers and partners can leverage on this innovative platform to design and test technology solutions, verify new business models, nurture innovative applications and services to both the public and private sectors.
“This centre has been designed as an information and communications technology (ICT) innovation hub and centre of excellence to drive the industry’s open ecosystem as well as accelerate the digital economy transformation in Malaysia.
“In addition, Huawei plans to further establish Cloud, the Internet of Things, Video and Big Data labs in the three years,” he said at the launch of the centre located at the Integra Tower@ the Intermark here yesterday.
The state-of-art centre was inaugurated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak yesterday.
Covering 13,000 square feet, Huawei’s CSIC aggregates over 120 reference applications and services across the world.
Abraham said through the centre, Huawei would continue to bring global experiences to the Malaysian context, serve better the needs of the ICT industry and help stakeholders succeed in their businesses.
