Last chance to enter Santa Run
SAMALAJU: Runners have until today ( Nov 30) to register for Press Metal Bintulu’s annual ‘Santa Run’.
Proceeds from the fundraiser on Dec 11 will go to the Association for Concerned Citizens and Parents of Handicapped Children ( Perpikat) Bintulu.
Some 650 runners, including those from overseas, are expected to participate in this year’s 8km run at Samalaju Industrial Park.
The categories are Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Veteran, Press Metal Bintulu Staff and Children. There are cash prizes, medals, health screening vouchers and trophies for the top three runners.
Side activities include aerobics, bikers show, games, children’s colouring contest and Christmas carolling.
The highlight of the event will be lucky draws with prizes such as iPhones and health screening vouchers. There will also be an auction to help raise even more funds for Perpikat.
Limited walk-in registration will also be open for public, but early registration is advised to avoid disappointments.
Race packs will be distributed on the event day.
