KUCHING: Some 50 educators from primary and secondary schools in the Tupong constituency recently got a glimpse into the 21st century learning concept with iLearn Ace (iLearnace) mobile application.

MindTech Education Sdn Bhd is the sales agent for the iLearnace which is created and powered by Sasbadi Online, an expert in Malaysian educational content and digital platform development.

Its eDirector Rosli Seruji pointed out that the mobile learning platform allows teachers, parents and students to interact, learn and teach more effectively.

“The plus side to this application is that the users have accessibility to learning anytime and anywhere through online and offline as well,” he said after an introduction to iLearnace briefing held at Dormani Hotel here.

“It also provides a comprehensive assessment according to public examination standards and latest formats where users can do their revisions for all subjects including Mandarin Language,” he added.

The iLearnace offers different packages for different educational stages with syllabus for national and Chinese primary schools ( Primary Four to Six) as well as syllabus for lower ( Form One to Three) and upper secondary (Form Four and Five) at an affordable price.

MindTech agent Abdul Halim Idris pointed out that the biggest challenge was to assess or mark the exercises or trial exam papers of children.

“But with this mobile application, we need not have to worry about not meeting the assessment standards of the education system. Now with Information Technology ( IT), learning and teaching can be done any time and anywhere all year round,” he added.

Among the features in iLearnace include note-taking, mind-map, tutorial videos ( for selected subjects only), assessment, report, games and rewards, dictionary and custom-made assignment (for teachers only).
