Usher in the Year of the Rooster at Sin Lung

KUCHING: Sin Lung Restaurant Sdn Bhd is offering diners its best dishes to celebrate the Year of the Rooster.

Set Menu A priced at RM538 is available on Chinese New Year’s Eve (Jan 27) for lunch at 12.15pm or dinner at 6.45pm.

The dishes are prosperity cold and hot plate, shark’s fin soup, Teo Chiew style steamed grouper, Hong Kong style roast duck, fried prawn with rock salt, Shanghai style pork knuckles, abalone mushroom and broccoli, Cantonese style fried rice, fried spring roll stuffed with meat, and a fruit platter.

Set Menu B at RM688 comes with seafood shark’s fin soup, Teo Chiew style steamed snapper, half roast suckling piglet, herbal steamed organic chicken, sea cucumber and broccoli, and fried butter prawn instead.

For the RM1,988 Set Menu C, the variation of dishes are abalone and shark’s fin soup, Teo Chiew style steamed cod, whole roast suckling piglet and drunken prawns.

All set menus include soft drinks and hot tea.

During the Chinese New Year Eve dinner, the ‘ God of Prosperity’ will present angpows to children.

The restaurant at Simpang Tiga has 128 tables, while the RH Plaza BDC outlet has 38 tables.

Both will open for business as usual on the third day of Chinese New Year.

Meanwhile, takeaway dishes are available between 8am and 4pm on Jan 26-27.

The dishes are 2kg roast piglet ( RM260), 3kg roast piglet ( RM300), 4kg roast piglet ( RM350), Cantonese style roast duck ( RM60), Shanghai style roast duck ( RM60), roast organic kampung chicken with sea Salt ( RM50), crispy chicken ( RM30), 1kg Cantonese style roast pork ( RM68), 1kg Cantonese style char siew ( RM68), crispy spring roll – one piece (RM8), 1kg fried prawn with sea salt ( RM90), special seafood dish for 10 people ( RM388), pork knuckles ( RM60), Yu Sang ( RM68), Cantonese fried rice ( RM68), and mixed vegetables with seafood ( RM80).
