KUCHING: The Pitcher Plants Exhibition & Conservation Centre at Kota Padawan is undergoing a minor upgrade to introduce additional attractions.

Park officer Stephen Lim said among the features to be added to the park are a small ‘ baruk’(traditional Bidayuh house), a circular house, a giant poster of all the pitcher plants found in the park and a gallery displaying photos of pitcher plants and souvenirs for sale. He said after the completion of the minor upgrading works, visitors can take photographs in front of the giant poster as well as at the ‘baruk’.

“Public response to our garden is getting better. Before Christmas, we welcomed many foreign visitors.

“Now, we want to add a few more attractions for visitors to remember when they come to the park,” he told The Borneo Post yesterday.
