Health and beauty workshop at Grand Dormani on Feb 18
KUCHING: Aztra Maju Enterprise is organising a development, health and beauty workshop at Grand Dormani Rajah Court Hotel here, from 9am to 5pm on February 18.
Participants will learn various makeup skills including makeup tools and techniques that will surely help them boost their selfconfidence as they enhance and embrace their beauty, with the help of two renowned facilitators and industry professionals, Sharifah Juliana Syed Hussein and Muhd Asyriel Foo Abdullah.
Sharifah Juliana is a renowned makeup artist and beauty expert who is also a lifestyle blogger. She has worked in the entertainment and fashion industries for over two decades with leading supermodels including Guess model Gigi Hadid, Sports Illustrated of South Africa model Xenia Deli, socialites and recording artists all over the world.
A graduate of London Esthetique College of Beauty Therapy and Makeup, she is of a mixed parentage of Malay-British, was a TV host before she started her career as a model and makeup artist.
“Through this workshop, we hope to unearth the strengths and potential of women as the backbone of success in an organisation. We are also looking forward to inspire and build motivation towards excellence and career development as well as helping participants to improve their leadership and public relations skills as well as self-confidence.
“It also aims at sharing makeup skills, knowledge, and professional beauty ethics, which will then prepare participants especially women to face any challenges in their careers and lives,” said organiser Bridgette Astra.
Meanwhile, Muhd Asyriel is an image consultant and beauty expert. He has worked with prestigious brands such as Lancome, Harriet Hubbard Ayer, Elancyl Bodyline, Physicians Formula Cosmetics, Guerlain, Nutrimetics, Darphin, Carita, Shiseido and E. Coudray.
His experience of over 24 years in the retail and direct business has made him to become a successful and well-known figure in the industry. Asyriel is also a certified makeup instructor who previously served at Air Asia Berhad.
Five topics will be presented to participants throughout the ‘Bengkel Transformasi Diri Luar dan Dalam’ workshop including ‘Why Image is Important in Our Daily Lives’, ‘Hygiene – From Head to Toe’, ‘Protocol, Etiquette, Body Language and Posture’, ‘Dress for Success, Lifestyle Tips and Healthy Eating’ and ‘Skin Care and Cosmetics’.
The workshop is recommended for company chairman, deputy chairman, directors, deputy directors, managing directors, department heads, managers, assistant managers, clerks, administrative assistants, secretaries, executives, special officers, models, entrepreneurs, government officials, NGOs and women movement associations.
A fee of RM250 per person will be charged, and it is inclusive of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Each participant will also be given a certificate of participation.
The participants will also receive door gifts worth RM150 each. Participants are encouraged to dress casually and bring their own makeup for the practical.
