Search for MH370 not permanentl­y stopped — Liow

KUALA LUMPUR: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai has stressed that the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 has not been permanentl­y stopped.

He said the search operation was suspended, pending the finding of new credible evidence. “If there is any new credible evidence, we will continue to search,” he told reporters after opening the Malaysia-France seminar on High Speed Rail here yesterday.

Liow said he would be in Perth, Australia this Sunday to receive the Fugro Equator, the last vessel to leave the search area in the southern Indian Ocean.
