INTERNATIONAL schools are becoming a popular choice for parents today because of the many advantages they offer.

Firstly, international schools offer globally recognised curricula that makes it easy for students to transfer to other schools locally and abroad.

Secondly, international schools use English as their main medium of instruction.

Thirdly, they provide a more holistic approach to education where the arts and sports are encouraged along with academic pursuits. Another advantage of international schools is the cultural diversity among students and teachers. Some international schools also offer boarding facilities. Boarding schools are becoming more popular today as they provide state-of-the-art accommodation and facilities to boarders.

Furthermore, boarding school students have the opportunity to join a variety of extracurricular activities and events.

More importantly, a boarding school education teaches students to be independent, responsible and tolerant. International schools in Malaysia vary widely when it comes to the curriculum used, teaching staff, annual fees, and facilities offered among others.

Therefore, it is important for parents to obtain accurate and reliable information on international schools in order to choose the right one for their child.

The Private & International School Fair, organised by Mint Communications, provides the perfect avenue for parents to get acquainted with international schools in Malaysia. Since 2012, Mint Communications have organised a series of successful fairs in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor. Each fair has had a steady growth in number of visitors and exhibitors over the years.
