Regas Premium Auto unveils all-new BMW 530i M Sport
MIRI: Authorised dealer of BMW range of vehicles, Regas Premium Auto Sdn Bhd yesterday unveiled the new BMW 5 Series model - the BMW 530i M Sport at its showroom in Airport Road here.
Now in its seventh generation, this most progressive and sporty model by BMW promises sheer driving pleasure and will set a new benchmark in the automotive premium segment in the country.
In a press statement, managing director and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia said: “Since its first introduction in 1972, the BMW 5 Series sedan has created a lasting legacy in the automotive premium segment, embodying unrivaled performance, elegance combining cutting- edge engineering and sophisticated innovation.”
He added that the all-new BMW 5 Series is already an award winner, recently taking home the much coveted iF Gold Award 2017, the highest accolade for design.
Even standing still, the all-new BMW 530i M Sport creates a powerful impression. The kidney-shaped grille and headlights are directly linked for the fi rst time ever.
The adaptive full-LED headlights with LED daytime running lights have been enhanced with roundabout light and high beam with a range of 500 metres.
Beneath the hood is the latest inline fourcylinder 2-litre petrol engine mated with a eight-speed Steptronic sport transmission that generates a maximum output of 252 horsepower, torque of 350 Nm, to accelerate the car from 0 to 100km/ h in just 6.2 seconds at a top speed of 250km/h.
The average fuel consumption of the all-new BMW stands a 5.8 litres per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 132 grams per kilometre.
The Driving Experience Control System provides four modes of driving – Comfort, Sport, Eco-Pro and Adaptive.
Internally, the car is fitted with sports seats for the driver and front passenger, multi-functional display with high resolution 12.3-inch colour display using black-panel technology, start top button, automatic 4-zone air conditioning system and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Safety and other features include airbags for driver and front passenger, side airbags, belt force limiter for front seats, central locking system with electronic immobiliser and crash sensor, front and rear disc brakes, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Cornering Brake Control, runflat tyres with flat tyre detector and 19-inch light sporty aluminium wheels.
The all-new BMW 530i M Sport is available in Black Sapphire, Sophisto Grey, Alpine White and Mediterranean Blue.
The retail price in Miri on the road, without insurance and with BMW Group Malaysia’s 5-year unlimited mileage warranty is RM403,047.
