Pavilion Electronic unveils smart CCTV system
MIRI: Security systems and solutions specialist Pavilion Electronic Enterprise Sdn Bhd launched the Centrix Smart Evolution IP Virtue Series, the latest technology in closed circuit television ( CCTV) surveillance systems, on Thursday.
Centrix Security Sdn Bhd ( Centrix) application and development manager Fabian Low said over the past 30 years, CCTV technology has evolved from just record and view to being able to analyse streaming videos to detect behaviour patterns.
Apart from the ability to record full HD video images with supreme low light and wide dynamic range performance, the four ground- breaking features of this system are face detection ability, intrusion detection, cross or line detection, and people counting.
Centrix unified management software automatically stores its recording onto cloud services when the hard disks are intentionally damaged by unwanted persons or intruders.
There is also continuous recording on the CCTV camera SD card even if the wire to the hard disk is cut off and friendly mobile viewing via smartphone.
In addition, by using the H.265 video format, long duration video recordings only take up 10 per cent of hard disk space.
“Consumers and system integrators nowadays demand more user-friendly yet with powerful features at affordable costs. Centrix focuses on these in mind and strives to provide the best possible experience,” Low said.
Among those present at the launching were Pavilion Electronic Sdn Bhd general manager Peter Loo and operations manager Louis Loo, as well as Centrix Security Sdn Bhd executive director James Wong.
Established in 1985, Pavilion Electronic Enterprise Sdn Bhd specialises in burglar alarm systems, CCTV and surveillance systems, door access systems and auto gate systems for homeowners and commercial users.
