Woman denies marriage with singer-actor Park Yoo-chun
SEOUL: Singer- actor Park Yoochun announced recently that he is set to tie the knot soon.
According to local media reports, Park is to wed a 28-yearold granddaughter of Namyang Dairy Products' founder in a private ceremony in September in Seoul.
A report also quoted an official from Park's agency who said, “We checked the fact with Park. It's all true. He has been in a relationship with her since late 2016.”
However, the woman Hwang Hana has denied the marriage, pleading with reporters and the public to “leave ( her) alone.”
In a post on her personal Instagram account, posted shortly after reports regarding Park's marriage, Hwang said, “I never knew I had a boyfriend I've dated for a year, and I never knew I was a CEO of an online shopping mall! Last year was hard for me so please let me have a comfortable, ordinary year this year. I can't believe they ( journalists) will write articles not even based on truth.”
Meanwhile, Namyang Dairy Products also claims to have no knowledge about the reported wedding plans, according to media reports.
Park debuted in 2003 with five-member boy group TVXQ, but following contract disagreements with his former agency, created boy group JYJ with two of the former members in 2010.
Park was recently acquitted of all charges of sexual assault from four different females in June 2016.
Park is currently serving as a social service agent, a substitute military service system for those not fit for action. He is set to be discharged from his mandatory service in late August.
