800 Leos to attend 44th Multiple District 308 Leo Forum from May 28-30
KUCHING: Some 800 Leos from Sarawak, Sabah, West Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei will converge in Kuching from May 28 to 30 for the 44th Multiple District 308 Leo Forum 2017.
The forum is jointly organised by the International Association of Lions Clubs District 308A2 Region 1, which consists of 12 Lion Clubs of Kuching, Kota Samarahan and Serian, together with 15 Leo Clubs.
Chief organising chairman Feliz Hu said that it is a great honour and opportunity for this Region to host the forum again since the last one held in 1997.
“It has a significant meaning for Lions and Leos for Region 1,” he said.
The forum themed, “One Heart One Mind” represents the Lions’ and Leos’ determination and dedication to society. The Leos who will be attending the forum are in the age group of 13 to 30 years old.
There will be seminars, workshops, fellowship night, banquet and presentation of achievement awards to the participants.
A series of interesting teamwork activities, such as Amazing Run will be held in order to enrich the Leos, enhance their communication and teamwork skills and help them to strengthen their competitive advantage.

Hu recently handed over an official invitation letter to trainer and facilitator Esther Law, inviting her to be a forum speaker.
Law will be speaking on “How to Be a REAL Success”. Through simple theory, interactive learning process, she will guide the Leos to explore the meaning of life and adopting REAL formula towards Success.
Law is the founding partner of John C Maxwell Team. She is an international certified trainer and facilitator who possesses the American Association for the Certification of Training Program (AACTP) and Malaysia PSMB Training Certification.
She is also the Charter President of Connections Toastmasters Club, playing an active role as Distinguished Toastmasters ( DTM), and had been invited to speak at Toastmasters conventions in Indonesia, China and Malaysia.
She had also served as president of Lions Club of Kuching Host in 2009-2011.
