“Our players did very well this year and they have won all the matches en route to the final.

“They have beaten Kaban 17, Team HGA and Titans all by the score of 3-2 and were the first team to enter the final after defeating Titans on Apr 23.

“However, we are not taking our opponents lightly as they will be tough to beat after bouncing back from the losers’ pool to advance to the final,” he said.

Asked on the chance of repeating last year’s success, Hoan, who is Sarawak Gol f Association president, replied: “It will be 50- 50 and it will depend on the players’ performance and form on match day.”

Admitting that HKH Pink would be under pressure to defend their title, Hoan said the best players – a mix of juniors and seniors – will be fielded.

“However, HKH Pink will not be easy to beat as they have won all their matches thus far. Our chance of winning is 50- 50 and I hope my players will be in top form tomorrow,” he added.
